Students who participated in this years drama performance will have a celebration party on Thursday, March 27th in the Media Center until 3:00 PM.

Please keep our second graders in your prayers as they will receive the sacrament of Holy Communion on Sunday, March 30th at the 11:00 AM Mass.

Students may begin wearing standard uniform shorts and gym shorts beginning, Tuesday, April 1st.

Students may wear their navy PTO spiritwear shirts with uniform bottoms on Tuesday, April 1st.

If you have not already done so, please log your Parent Partnership hours into MY SERVICE LOG in Sycamore no later than April 30, 2025. All families are required to perform 20 hours of service and failure to participate will result in a fee of $25.00 per service hour. Thank you!

We really need help in our cafeteria on a daily basis. Great way to earn Parent Partnership hours. Kitchen Help will assist the cafeteria with serving food. Cafe Monitor will assist students with opening items and cleaning tables.

You must be VIRTUS compliant. Parent hours need to be logged in to Sycamore for approval!

Our last PTO meeting will be on Tuesday, May 13 at 6:30pm in the church undercroft. We look forward to seeing you there!

Our Mother/Son Bowling Event will be held on Sunday, April 13 from 1-3 at the Florence Bowling Center. We’re thrilled to introduce our brand-new Speed, Agility, and Conditioning Program at St. Cecilia. This program is designed to support the physical growth and athletic development of our students from Kindergarten through 8th grade—all while having fun.

Here’s what families can expect by grade level:

Kindergarten – 2nd Grade:

We focus on having fun while helping our youngest athletes strengthen their muscles, improve balance, and enhance coordination through playful, engaging movement.

3rd – 5th Grade:

This stage is all about building foundational motor skills, improving coordination and balance, and developing athletic abilities through fun, age-appropriate drills.

6th – 8th Grade:

Our middle school athletes will work on improving overall fitness, enhancing motor skills, and building a solid foundation for athletic performance. The goal is to prepare them for future sports opportunities while helping prevent injuries through proper movement and conditioning.

Since we’re just getting started, sessions will be held for all K–8 students on Thursdays from 5:30–6:30 PM in the gym. As the program grows, we’ll look at creating specific time slots for each age group to better meet their developmental needs.
