Teacher Spotlight: Mr. Brescher
This week LAUSD recognizes 5th grade teacher Jake Brescher, for over 20 years of dedicated service to his students at Balboa Gifted/High Ability Magnet School. Mr. Brescher believes that 5th grade should not be just an ordinary year of school, but it should be an experience to remember. This philosophy has created a classroom environment that his students look forward to each and every day. Thank you, Jake, for your commitment to our elementary school learners! https://www.lausd.org/champions
55% to Compass Fund Goal Reached!
Mr. Brescher's class was the first class to 100% and will get a class party! However, ALL classes that reach 80% will get a popsicle party, and ALL classes that reach 100% will get a restaurant coupon, so there are still a lot of great incentives to reach for!
We are at 55% of our goal, we have 3 more weeks to push!
