WE NEED YOU!
We are Seeking Volunteers
Trollwood needs you! We have volunteer opportunities for individuals with a vast array of interests or experience. As a volunteer at Trollwood, you will work with friendly, helpful people and have a massive impact on the youth of our region!
Usher Co-Chair Rachelle Martin first volunteered at Trollwood in 2013 and became usher co-chair in 2016 when her daughter MaTia was in the Mainstage Musical. She has continued coming back to volunteer long after her daughter finished her time at Trollwood.
“My daughter, MaTia, worked concessions that year (in 2013) and loved it so much she told me to give it a try,” Martin said. “I’ve never looked back!
“Trollwood is a program that provides leadership opportunities and teaches skillsets that students carry on into adulthood. This is a program I am proud to represent as a volunteer.”
We need volunteers to help every performance night of The Addams Family and have a number of volunteer times between now and opening night. Click here to view all of our current volunteer opportunities and sign up. Coming up next Thursday, July 11 at 7 p.m., we are hosting the Volunteer Fire-Up event where we will cover everything you need to know about volunteering and provide guidance in each area. We want to make you feel confident and ready to go by the time your volunteer day comes.
If you’re feeling nervous about being a first-time volunteer, Martin suggests signing up for one of the larger group areas, such as concessions, ushering, or parking/unparking. That way you can team up with more experienced volunteers who can ease you into the experience and help introduce you to people.
“Every year we have brand new volunteers,” Martin said. “So, you are never alone and we are here to help.”
When you volunteer, you join a team of fun, positive people who want to give back to a program that positively impacts the youth of our region. You get to help students create a magical piece of art that leaves a lasting impression not only on the students involved in the show, but the entire community of people who come to Trollwood to see a performance.
“Trollwood Truly is an experience!” Martin said. “I have met some amazing people in our community and look forward to reuniting with them in July.”

June Memories
June absolutely flew by! It seemed like Trollwood Academy and Totally Trollwood Academy classes had just started and just like that, they were already finished. The last day of classes was last Wednesday, June 26 with everything culminating in a spectacular Sun Celebration. It is incredible to watch the young artists learn and grow over the month of June. The positive change from the first of classes to their performances and demonstrations on Share Days and Sun Celebration is remarkable. In celebration of a great June Session, check out some of our favorite pictures from Trollwood Academy and Totally Trollwood Academy!

The Addams Family - Tickets on Sale Now!
The Addams Family, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
