Dear Stephenson Area Public Schools Community,
As we embark on the new year, I am excited to share our progress and plans for 2025.
We are actively working on our 2023–2028 Strategic Plan, focusing on:
Academic Programs - Career and Technical Education (CTE) and elective offerings.
Learning Environment and Culture - Implementing a school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) system.
Personnel and Leadership - Recruiting and retaining quality faculty and staff.
Communications and Community Engagement - Developing comprehensive communication plans.
Operations - Assessing and improving our facilities.
These initiatives aim to provide a safe environment to educate, challenge, and inspire all students to be lifelong learners.
Student Success
Our students continue to excel in academics, athletics, and the arts. Congratulations to our winter sports teams for their hard work and teamwork. We are also proud of our students who participated in academic competitions, showcasing critical thinking and perseverance.
Second Semester Begins
With a new semester underway, this is a great time to set academic goals. Students should stay organized, ask for help when needed, and use available resources. Parents, your support—through homework help, encouraging reading, or fostering good time management—plays a key role in student success.
Winter Weather Reminders
Please ensure you are signed up for school alerts regarding closures or delays. Student safety is our priority, and we appreciate your patience when the weather affects schedules. Also, remind students to dress warmly and drive carefully when dropping off and picking up.
Community Engagement
Your input is vital. We encourage you to participate in upcoming meetings and surveys to help shape the future of our district. Details will be shared on our website and through school communications.
