Happy Sunday, Pride!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I spent mine in downtown Rock Hill at the ChristmasVille festival, where I serve as a volunteer team leader overseeing entertainment and mascots. It was incredible to see so many members of our Pride out enjoying the festivities. Even more inspiring were the parents and students volunteering with the many organizations involved in the festival. Seeing so many of you giving back truly warmed my heart.

As I reflect on the weekend, I’m reminded of how giving back is the cornerstone of building a strong community—just like the one we’re nurturing at Riverwalk Academy. Giving back takes many forms and comes from the heart. Whether it’s volunteering, helping a friend, donating to a cause, or offering kind words, every act creates a ripple effect of positivity.

This season of gratitude, let’s all find our unique way to give back. Together, we can make a meaningful difference—one small act at a time.

First graders Nevaeh White, Sadie Jackson, Abbie Turner, and Magnolia Beam showed teamwork and school spirit when they went above and beyond to clean the mud off the outside wall during recess. Instead of playing, they worked together with determination and kindness, demonstrating that helping out and taking pride in their school is always in season. Great job, girls!
