Maternity B.V.M Weekly Update
Important Reminders
December 9-15
1. Today we had our Pre K Christmas Show. It was a great way to begin a day. Thank you to our teachers Mrs. Pascarella, Mrs. Maloney, Mrs. Mott, Mrs. Calderbank and Mrs. Kozin. Thank you to all of you for entrusting us with your beautiful children.
2. Today is report card day. Please use it for what is designed for, as a tool to celebrate the good grades and spark a conversation about some that may need improvement. If you have any questions please reach out to the teachers.
3. Breakfast with Santa is Sunday. We need volunteers to set up Saturday Night at 7 pm. We also need volunteers to help on Sunday. If you can help that would be great. Thank you to our Home and School for all they do for the students of Maternity B.V.M.
4. I am attaching the Christmas Spirit Week paper again. Next week will be a long week for the students, these days are designed to help them enjoy the time while we continue to push through the week, no one is obligated to participate but encouraged to join in the fun.
5. Next Thursday 12/19 we will have our Annual Tree Lighting. Our band will perform, our 2nd grade tableau will perform and so will the choir. If your child is a part of any of this we respectfully remind you that they are expected to be present for it and we are looking forward to seeing them perform. It will begin at 7 pm. The band director will tell the children what time he expects them to be there. Miss A has asked if the choir can wear their " Christmas best". I think that is great, please make sure it is Church appropriate.
6. Next Thursday 12/19 is our Sing A Long, it will begin at 8:30 and dismissal will be at 12:00. There is NO CARES so that the faulty can enjoy their Christmas luncheon.
7 Friday 12/20 is the Christmas tableau presented by our older students. That will be in Church at 8:30 and all students are expected to be in school uniform. Dismissal is 12:00 and there is NO CARES.
8. Our older students in Grades 4-8 are receiving reconciliation on Wednesday.
9. We will resume classes on Monday January 6, 2025.
I wish you all a beautiful Christmas and encourage you to enjoy the time and the beauty that surrounds us. God is here, he is with us and wants us to continue to find him in our daily lives, and more importantly in one another. Thank you for all you do for us.
Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year.
