Principal's Message
Good evening,
Please take a minute to read our dismissal policies. We have posted this information several times this year but feel it is important to do so again. This procedure is necessary, especially on holidays and assembly days, both of which we will soon have.
Thank you in advance for your continued support of our students and staff!
Warmly,
Principal Duncan
Make-Up Picture Day is November 12th!
If your student needs a Make-Up Picture, please send them to school “Camera Ready” and make sure they bring their SMILE!
Make-Up pictures may be taken for 3 reasons:
1. Your student missed the previous school picture day(s)
2. You want to purchase school pictures, but would prefer a new pose
3. You want a different picture in the yearbook (if applicable)
It's completely FREE to have your child photographed again. After Picture Day you'll receive an email link to see your child's new pictures, as well as their previous pictures.
No purchase required - Pay only if you order!

Important Reminders
Please label items that your child brings to school. Our lost and found bin is filled with coats, sweatshirts, hats, gloves, water bottles, and other items. We would love to help these items find their way home.
Please join us tomorrow for our Annual Chloe Clark Parade
Veterans Day
Dear Families,
In preparation for Veterans Day, we are creating a bulletin board of stars that recognizes veteran family members from our Chloe Clark students and staff. We hope you consider completing the attached form, so that we may pay tribute to the veterans in your family - student's parents, grandparents, etc. Thank you for your support and we look forward to sharing this display at our Veterans Day assembly on Friday, November 8th. Deadline for submission is November 4. Please click on the link below to fill out the form.
Track Club
We need you!
We are looking for volunteers during our lunch recesses to help students scan their QR codes and run safely around the track. Track Club starts November 4th and is another option for students at recess; they will earn tokens for the number of miles they run! If you would like to be a part of this fun opportunity for our students, please sign up below.

Game On: Building Sportsmanship Skills in Kids
This week we start a new lesson on good sportsmanship. Learning to be a good sport and teammate is a skill that translates well from the playground to the classroom and throughout life. When we practice being a good sport, we are practicing flexible thinking, kindness, perseverance, and tolerating disappointment when it happens. I like to use the Chloe Clark Pledge to think about the key characteristics of good sportsmanship.
Explorers are safe; they follow the rules of the game and don't hurt each other when playing.
Explorers are kind; they include everyone in games and celebrate each other's wins.
Explorers are helpful; they encourage each other regardless of skill level and play fairly.
Explorers work hard; they don't give up or cheat if they aren't winning.
You can help promote good sportsmanship at home, too.
-Show good behavior: Let your child see you celebrate wins nicely and handle losses with grace. Actions speak louder than words!
- Encourage Teamwork: Remind your child that sports are about working together and cheering for their teammates.
- Be kind: Teach your child to cheer for others and say nice things, no matter the score. A simple "Good job!" can make someone’s day.
-Talk About Feelings: Help your child understand that it's okay to feel upset sometimes. Discuss how to express those feelings positively.
- Set Clear Rules: Before games, discuss what it means to be a good sport. Stress the importance of respecting coaches, referees, and other players.
-Practice: Family game nights are a great way to practice winning and losing, as well as to have fun together.
Win or lose, I wish you fun and connection while playing!
