HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS
SWIMMING
The Girls swim team achieved remarkable success this season, with several members earning All Cape Atlantic League 1st Team honors, including Katie Carlos, Kayla Nguyen, Ady Elko, Rhylee Cornell, Summer Dewitt, and Lana Davidson. Rachel Yushan also received Honorable Mention. Katie Carlos secured 2nd Team recognition for the 100 Butterfly, while Ady Elko earned 3rd Team recognition for the 100 Freestyle. The Girls Medley Relay, comprised of Katie Carlos, Rhylee Cornell, Kayla Nguyen, and Ady Elko, broke both the CAL Championship meet record and the School Record. Additionally, they finished 6th in the state. The Girls Team excelled throughout the season, finishing 2nd in the CAL American Division Dual Meet Season, clinching the Cape Atlantic League Conference Championship, and emerging as South Jersey Group IV Champions. They also secured 2nd place in the State in the Group IV team tournament. Katie Carlos further demonstrated her prowess, finishing 6th in the state in the 100 backstroke.
On the boys' side, Charles Schreiner, Dylan Dewitt, Charlie Seiverd, Max Smilevski, Will Nguyen, and Corey Lin earned All Cape Atlantic League 1st Team honors, with DJ Williams receiving Honorable Mention. Charles Schreiner earned 1st Team recognition for the 500 Freestyle in All South Jersey. The Boys 400 Freestyle Relay team of Charles Schreiner, Max Smilevski, Dylan Dewitt, and Charlie Seiverd finished 6th in the state, breaking the school record with a time of 3:10.99. The Boys 200 Freestyle Relay team of Max Smilevski, DJ Williams, Will Nguyen, and Dylan Dewitt secured 7th place in the state. Charles Schreiner made history as the first-ever Male Individual State Champion in EHT Swimming, winning the 500 Freestyle with a team record and automatic All-American time of 4:26.74. He also finished 6th in the 200 Freestyle.
GIRLS WINTER TRACK AND FIELD
This past weekend members of the girls' track and field team traveled to Boston where they competed in the New Balance Indoor Nationals. Congratulations to Paige Pacquing, Amari Pinkett, Taylor Rooney, and Kiki Schlemo for running a 12:38.19 in the Distance Medley Relay.
BOYS WINTER TRACK AND FIELD
The 4 x 800 relay of Amir Halim, Chase Mazur, Aaron Wagner, and Christopher Manzo competed and placed top 50 in the country. Senior Christopher Manzo also qualified individually in the 800 and Senior Mike Simeon also qualified in the Shot Put.
FLAG FOOTBALL
On Saturday, Coach Bell took 15 girls interested in playing in our inaugural girls flag football season to the Philadelphia Eagles NovaCare. The girls completed many of the same drills happening at the NFL Combine. We are very excited for the season to begin.
UNIFIED SPORTS
Great day for our Unified students with other local high schools. Thank you to our Unified coaches and staff who help make our program and students successful.

· All Exams must be submitted digitally though your online registration.
· No hard copies, emails or faxes will be accepted.
· Re-Cert packets and COVID Forms are now part of the registration question/process. No hard copies needed.

It can take up to 7 days for exams to be reviewed and for the student athlete to be cleared to attend tryouts and/or begin practice. REGISTER NOW!

Fernwood volleyball is off to a strong 4-0 start this season! The Eagles are playing great team ball and proving themselves to be the team to beat in the league. Keep up the good work!
