News from the Admin Team
Families,
We hope you all had a wonderful week and enojoyed the much needed rain. We are happy to recieve the rain, but this has led us to cancel our Campus Beautification day that was scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 29th from 9-11 am. We will work to reschedule this event. Thank you to all of the families and PTO for signing up for this event and being willing to help us beautify our campus.
Please remember to register your students in Skyward if you have not done so yetWe are at 44% completion for registration for the 25-26 school year. Our goal is to be at 100% by April 30th.. This helps us prepare for next year and staff accordingly. Registration numbers could be the difference between being able to hire additonal teachers this summer vs needing to hire a teacher after the school year begins due to increased numbers. All new and returning students must complete registration. Please refer to Mrs. Toczynski's email sent earlier this week and the information below with specific steps to complete this process.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the rainy weather. We will see you on Monday!
Jennifer Escamilla, Principal
Chelsea Allison, Assistant Principal
Registration IMPORTANT
It is time to register for the 2025-2026 School Year. All new AND returning students need to complete online registration. Enrollment numbers affect our teacher allocation numbers. Please log in to Skyward TODAY to register your returning student for next year. It only takes about 5 minutes.
If you are unsure if you will be returning, please go ahead and register so we have a place for your child(ren).
If you are transferring to another BISD campus, please still register. We can transfer the enrollment to the new campus when the time comes.
If you are sure you will not be returning, please notify the front office and your homeroom teacher.
Once you start the registration process, please don’t forget to “submit” on the final screen.
Please log into Skyward on your laptop or home computer and click the following link:

Safety and Security Updates
School Visitor Security
Parents if you are visiting for lunch or something else, please check out at the front office once you are done visiting. This is so we can account for your whereabouts on campus since you are checked in. Also, do not go out any side doors, please exit through the front main door, as this is a security concern. Thank you very much.
STAAR Testing
STAAR Testing Days- Mark your Calendars
April 15th- 3rd-5th Reading STAAR

All students who are sick or absent on these testing days will have to make up their STAAR test when they return. Please ensure that your child gets good rest and a well-balanced breakfast on these days. We will have a closed campus on these days and no parents will be permitted to eat lunch or sign in as a volunteer.
Attendance
Our average attendance for last week was 96%!! Way to go, Knights! Thank you for getting your child to school on time and every day. Please continue sending all attendance emails to laura.kanter@boerneisd.net.
Lunch Visitors
We welcome parents visiting during their students scheduled lunch time. You must check in at the front office and receive a visitor badge before you are permitted access to the cafeteria. Once in the cafeteria, you may sit at the designated parent tables closest to the stage or make your way outside to the outdoor eating area. Your student is the only one permitted to eat with you. Please refrain from inviting other students to join you. Additionally, we ask that you do not stay in the cafeteria after your student's lunch time is over. You will need to make your way back to the front at this time and allow your student to rejoin their class.
