EDC Partnership
I am pleased to share with you the continuation of the partnership between Brockport Central School District and the College at Brockport Counselor Education Program. Graduate-level interns from the college will be available at the high school again this year to work with students in individual and small group counseling sessions for students who access those counseling services. The graduate interns will be supervised on site from counseling professors from the college. The interns will also work with the entire junior class to complete their “Do What You Are Career Plan” activity. If you do not wish for your child to work with these interns, please contact your child's school counselor by Monday, September 20th.
Pop-up Food Pantry to be held at BCSD
Brockport Central School District (BCSD) and FoodLink of Rochester will be hosting a drive-through, pop-up food pantry on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, between 4:30 and 6 p.m. at the Brockport High School.
This event is open to all residents in the surrounding communities. Due to COVID restrictions, individuals will not be permitted to enter the high school and select their items. Instead, households will be given boxes of pre-packaged food. Community members will simply drive up to the Brockport High School student parking lot doors and a box of food will be handed to them. We are asking everyone to please be patient as we transition from the traditional walk-in model of food distribution to the necessary pre-packaged system.
BCSD and FoodLink are excited to be teaming up again to provide this needed service to the community. Our goal is to host a pop-up pantry each month.
If you have questions, donations or would like to volunteer, please email Orlando.Benzan@bcs1.org .

The results of this survey will enable us to identify students who may be struggling emotionally and to offer supports that can assist them successfully transition back to in-person learning 5 days per week. Results will only be accessible to the mental health staff and will remain confidential. You can view the survey by clicking on the following link -Social Emotional Wellness Survey.
