Student Progress Reporting

We are excited to remind you that STEM Academy uses Seesaw as our primary platform for sharing student progress. Through Seesaw, each student maintains a digital portfolio that showcases their learning journey, skills, and achievements. Starting in December, you’ll also receive a monthly Learner Profile update to keep you informed about your child's growth and development.

Reviewing your child’s work on Seesaw is a fantastic way to stay connected with their classroom experiences. You’ll get to see projects, activities, and reflections that demonstrate their progress in real-time. This visibility into their learning journey provides valuable insights and creates meaningful opportunities for you to celebrate and discuss their growth.

Most returning families already have access to Seesaw from previous years. For our new families, or if you need to add additional family members, please follow the directions sent home with your student either yesterday or today. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

Health Room Help!

Mrs. Williams is in need of a few items to help the Health Room run smoothly. If your family can contribute in any way, Mrs. Williams and all of our students would be so greatly appreciative!

Leggings (girl sizes 6-12)
Sweatpants / Joggers (boy sizes 6-7)
Girl’s underwear (sizes 6-12)
Boy’s underwear (sizes 6-12)

Socks (boys & girls sizes small & medium)
Gift Cards (Mrs. Williams can use gift cards to make these purchases for our Health Room - those Target Clearance racks are GREAT!)
Mints (Lifesavers Spearmint)
Pretzels (individual OR large container)
Tissues

Latest lost and found

Pickup/Daycare Van Reminder

Please remember that our 2 daycare vans need to enter the gate first at pickup time. They do arrive early to pick up their riders before our dismissal bell and regular pickup time. If you arrive so early that they are not at the gate yet, you must leave room for them to enter first. Thank you for your continued support in keeping our car line running smoothly!

Art to Remember is back!

Order forms are on their way and will be arriving soon. If you'd like to jump right in, you can access a search of our school's ATR page here. Orders will be due November 18, and arrive in mid-December.

There was a slight tech malfunction at the company when names were uploaded, so if you find that your student's name is spelled incorrectly, please let me know and I will do my best to fix it.

Christmas Clearing Council

If your family would like to apply for 2024 Christmas assistance, click here for information and applications. Deadline to apply is November 15, 2024 at 11:59 pm.

Our MakerSpace could use donations of paint. Donations can be dropped off in the front lobby.

STEMShare

We are pleased to offer our STEMShare program to families who need it. STEMShare provides healthy, kid-friendly foods to participating students at the end of each school week. If your family would benefit from a supplemental food bag each Friday, please click here and complete the request form (this information is kept strictly confidential).
