🎯 CES Aviators Hit the Bullseye! 🎯
We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from our talented students! Our CES Archery Team recently took flight in their first tournament of the year at the Gator Bullseye Tournament, and their performance was nothing short of outstanding! The team finished in 3rd. A special congratulations to Jase Tanner who was 5th out of all elementary males and Shelby Allshouse who was 4th overall for elementary females!
The team displayed precision, focus, and the Aviator spirit of going above and beyond as they represented Centerville Elementary with pride. Whether it was a first-timer drawing back their bow or a seasoned teammate perfecting their aim, the energy and teamwork were truly inspiring.
This event marked the beginning of what promises to be an incredible season for our archers. We’re so proud of the dedication and determination they’ve shown in their practice and competition. Special thanks to our amazing coaches, Gantt, Thompson and Duncan, and supportive families who help our Aviators soar to new heights.
Please join us in congratulating our Archery Team for a fantastic start to their season! Stay tuned for updates as they continue to aim high and hit new targets throughout the year. Go Aviators! 🎯✈️
🎶 CES Chorus Performs National Anthem at the SC Men’s Basketball Game 🎶
This past Saturday, our CES Chorus had the incredible honor of performing the National Anthem at the South Carolina Men’s Basketball game in Columbia. Their heartfelt and patriotic rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" captivated the crowd and filled the arena with pride and unity.
As the final note rang out, the audience erupted in applause, a testament to the professionalism and passion of our young singers. It was a moment of immense pride for Centerville Elementary, and we couldn’t be prouder of our chorus members for representing our school and community with such grace and excellence.
A huge thank you goes out to our chorus director, Mrs. Glymph, for guiding these students and to the families who support their musical journey. Also, a big thank you to Ms. Mirmow and Mr. Stone who accompanied the chorus. Moments like these remind us all that our Aviators truly soar to new heights in everything they do!
Bravo, CES Chorus, for an unforgettable performance! 🎶
