LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Dolphin Families,
We had another great week at DIMS! Our 8th grade class took a field trip to Lincoln Park where they did community building activities deepening their connection to one another and the school community. The 7th grade class had a culture building assembly where they were able to learn from a panel of 8th grade students. The 8th grade students gave advice on how to get connected to the school, be a positively contributing school community member, and achieve greater learning and academic success. Our 7th grade class goes on their community building field trip to Lincoln Park on Wednesday while our 6th grade class participates in their culture building assembly. So far, each event has been very successful in staff and students joining together to deepen sense of belonging for all.
Warmly,
Mary Ingraham
