SES Weekly Update!
November 4-8, 2024
Welcome to November everybody!
Truly, we live with mysteries too marvelous
to be understood.
How grass can be nourishing in the
mouths of the lambs.
How rivers and stones are forever
in allegiance with gravity
while we ourselves dream of rising.
How two hands touch and the bonds will
never be broken.
How people come, from delight or the
scars of damage,
to the comfort of a poem.
Let me keep my distance, always, from those
who think they have the answers.
Let me keep company always with those who say
“Look!” and laugh in astonishment,
and bow their heads.

SES Sock and Mitten Drive
Our SES serves committee is ready for our next project - a sock and mitt drive for the Morning Star program through Catholic Social Services! Through the month of November we are asking staff and students to donate adult socks and mitts, and we will donate them to the Morning Star Program.
Halloween Candy Trade-In Event
November 4 & 5 the Kind Kidz Club will be in the front foyer, handing out trades to students who feed our candy monster! Students will be able to donate anytime between 8:45am and 9:30am on those days. The candy will be donated to local agencies, and the students will get a treat in return for their kindness!
St. Mary's, Sacred Heart Parish Sacraments
Sacraments are physical signs of God's grace living through us. They are a direct link between our physical lives and the divine.
St. Mary's Parish will be offering sessions for any children or families interested in furthering their sacramental journey. If you are wondering about Baptism, Eucharist, or Reconciliation, please check with St. Mary's Parish at 403-347-3114, Sacred Heart Parish at 403-346-2618, or contact the school and we will help you however we can!
Parent- Teacher Interviews
It's that time of year again!

We are excited to be able to offer Parent Teacher Interviews either In-Person or by Phone.

Parent Visitors
To maintain a safe and secure school building we ask that all visitors report to the main office. If you need to drop off something for your child, please leave it at the main office and we will ensure that the item gets to the student. All volunteers in the building are required to have previously submitted approved documentation. Thank you for your understanding.
New Messaging System!
Our office has moved to a new Messaging system for attendance alerts and messages (formerly SwiftReach). The new system does not currently have the ability to text, please be sure to check your email (and junk mail) for messages from the following address:
broadcasts@schoolmessengermail.com.
We appreciate your patience as we transition to a new division-wide messaging system.
Thank you!
Your Feedback Matters!
We welcome any feedback you can give us to help us do the best we can to serve your children! If you have questions, kudos, concerns, even cries of outrage, we encourage you to voice your opinion using this form. We will do our best to respond to your feedback!
