At Four Riv
π Parents, please help us!
Our top parent priority for the month:
We are on a mission to help our first-eighth graders master their math facts, and we need your support! Strong math fact fluency is the key to success in more difficult math problems. When students have their math facts memorized, they can focus on higher-level thinking instead of getting stuck counting on their fingers.
The great news is that students only need to focus on 8-12 math facts at a time, making practice easier. You can help at home by practicing math facts with your child. Flashcards, quick quizzes, and even fun math games can make a big difference. Just a few minutes of practice each day can lead to major improvements!
Thank you for your support in helping our students grow in confidence and math skills. Letβs work together to make this a great success!

JUMP Nβ JIVE JULIET

Mr. Capulet and his daughter, Juliet, are rehearsing βRomeo and Juliet.β When the rehearsing center gets double-booked for both these events at the same time, itβs up to Ron and Juliet to settle the grudge between their fathers. #9 Spring Break, March 24-28 π€
This Spring Break, help your student embrace the Benefits of Boredom. As Spring Break approaches, consider a simple yet powerful strategy: giving your kids space to be bored. By limiting screen time, you're encouraging them to explore their creativity, try new things, and develop problem-solving skills. It might not always be easy, but these moments of "boredom" can lead to some of the most valuable learning experiences. So, take a deep breath and let your kids discover the world around them!
Research shows that when kids are bored, their brains are actually working hard. They're processing past experiences and learning from their surroundings, which helps boost creativity and problem-solving skills. This is an important part of how children develop and grow.

A Heartfelt Farewell to America! π
It's hard to believe two months have passed! We want to express our deepest gratitude to America, a dedicated Falcon alumni, for all she's done for our community.
