From Principal Wilken
Dear Tully School Families,
Welcome back to a new school year at Tully GATE Magnet. I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable summer. As we return to our routines, I am excited to see our hallways filled with eager students and the joy of learning.
The first week back will include our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) walk, where we will review and practice our school routines and expectations. This is an excellent opportunity for new students to get acquainted with our school culture and for returning students to refresh their memories.
We are thrilled to welcome new faces to our Tully community, both students and staff. Let's work together to make this year a positive and successful experience for everyone.
Looking forward to a fantastic school year!
Warm regards,
Principal Wilken

🍃Tully's Growing Green!
We are looking forward to another great year in our Ecology and Garden Program here at Tully! There are several projects and tasks that our students and volunteers will be assisting with this quarter. A few of these are tidying up the garden after a wet and windy monsoon season (yay rain!), constructing a new greenhouse now that the foundation has been laid, and prepping and planting our fall season veggie beds.
If you have not done so already, please visit our butterfly garden – currently, there are many queen butterflies enjoying the blue mist and milkweed plants. While we do have monarch butterflies that visit the garden, most of our current butterflies are queens. Queen butterflies look like monarch butterflies but are smaller and their white spots are both on the orange and black part of their wings. Stop by and see it in person!
