December 12: 4th Grade Winter Program 6pm

4th grade will visit the Perot Museum on 12/4. We will send home more information and permission forms next month. If you would like to chaperone, please complete the Volunteer Form soon. This can take several weeks to process. The field trip will cost $3 per student. Please pay online using the School Cash link below.

ELAR- We will explain the author’s purpose and message within a text (4.10A)

Math- We will represent a fraction a/b as a sum of fractions 1/b, where a and b are whole numbers and b > 0, including when a > b (4.3A)

We will decompose a fraction in more than one way into a sum of fractions with the same denominator using concrete and pictorial models and recording results with symbolic representations (4.3B)

Science- We will collect and analyze data to identify sequences and predict patterns of change in seasons such as change in temperature and length of daylight (4.9A)

Social Studies- We will summarize the significant contributions of individuals such as William B. Travis, James Bowie, David Crockett, Juan N. Seguín, Plácido Benavides, José Francisco Ruiz, Antonio López de Santa Anna, Susanna Dickinson and Enrique Esparza (4.3B)
