Parents and students,

Here are some guidelines for the end of the semester:

• Please note that the last day of school for this semester is Friday, December 20.
• Individual Teachers will send out information if the class is having a Holiday party.
• Students should have all school/classwork completed by Monday, December 16th.
• 3rd-6th grade Middle of the Year IMSSA scores will be sent out next week.
• Report cards will be emailed Friday, Dec 20 after school is over.
• Students return to school Tuesday, January 7 to start the second semester.

Chamisa's Winter Concert was held Wednesday, December 11. Students from band, orchestra , Singsations and Singsations Jr entertained us for the holidays. Their talent and hard work was impressive! Thank you students, Mrs. Tholen, Mr. Meeks and Mr. Bleich for a wonderful performance.

From volcanoes to buoyancy, from potato batteries to reactive mixtures, we had it all at our Science Fair. Fifth and Sixth grade students showcased their curiosity at the science fair. Great job, students!

Students and staff get a bird's eye view of our new school! Construction is coming along quickly. It's exciting for the students to see the progress of our school and be able to have question and answers sessions with our construction company workers.

K-Kids held a fundraiser for the African Library Project. Students participated in Adopt A Stuffy. K-Kids raised $194 for the project. There are some stuffies left. Mrs. Lynch will allow students to come during lunch time next week if students would like to adopt a stuffy.
