EJMS Families,

We hope everyone had a great week. Thank you to all of our families who came out to the annual Block Party. We had an amazing turnout and fantastic weather!

Midterms and Accessing Grades through IC Parent Portal

The first Nine Weeks Midterm ends this coming week on Friday, September 13th.

Do you need help with Infinite Campus Parent Portal? Don’t know how to check on your child’s grades? Check out this IC Parent Portal Grades Doc for help.

EJMS Tailgate - Wednesday, September 18th

Join us for a tailgate before the East-West football game at the East High football field. Gate opens at 5:15 and the game begins at 6:00.

Student Behavior Expectations:

Students must remain in permitted areas only: football stadium, concessions/bathroom area, tailgate area for PTO sponsored games and food
Students must not bring other balls to play games of “pick up”
Students should behave in an appropriate manner (no fighting, appropriate language, no PDA, etc)
Students may not re-enter the game if the leave the gates
Students must be ready for pick up by 8:30 PM at the latest
If you can not abide by these rules you will be asked to leave

Gallery Walk in the 8th grade Hallway

On Tues. Ms. Grillo's 8th grade ELA students walked the hallway to read and work with biographical articles to learn more about Anne Frank. Each article was available in at least three different languages.

Join Junior Beta

EJMS National Junior Beta is looking for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who are passionate about service, leadership, achievement, and character. Junior Beta is a chance to share artistic and academic talents and skills as well as an opportunity for growing as student leaders through weekly chapter meetings, state and national conventions, and so much more. Find out more about joining Beta from one of our sponsors: Sheena Roller, Carrie Mahagan-Kinkade, and Victoria Grillo. There will be a student and parent interest meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
