Music in Motion 2024 Hits a High Note for MZB
The Marching Zephyr Band and The Whitehall Music Parent Association hosted their annual Cavalcade of Bands competition, Music in Motion, on Saturday, October, 26th. Fifteen bands as well as the MZB performed their shows for a set of Cavalcade judges. Our beautiful campus, at the height of its fall color, was the perfect backdrop for a memorable and well attended event. This annual event is a large fundraiser for the band's booster club the WMPA, and many parents and alumni donated food, effort, and time to make this event a success. We couldn't do it without the support of the district, the board, administration, the staff, and maintenance.
PA Invention Convention Regional 1st Place Finish for Steckel Students
On November 18, students from Steckel Elementary traveled to CLIU21 to participate in the regional competition of the PA Invention Convention. The students showcased their innovative design for a food-sharing backpack, a revolutionary concept that uses solar power to regulate the temperature of compartments, keeping food warm or cold as needed. The goal of the invention is to provide a practical solution for sharing resources with those in need of food.
Their creativity and ingenuity earned them first place in the competition, and as a result, they will be advancing to the state-level competition in Hershey. Congratulations to these future inventors for their hard work and dedication!

Joining Big Brothers Big Sister is going to be rewarding. I am going to be able to experience bonding with my new mentee! Although I have little brothers, to be able to get to know another kid is going to make me feel like I can make a huge impact on multiple little lives. This will go beyond fist bump Fridays and take it up a level. Also, being part of the Black and Latino Male College Readiness Program of the Lehigh Valley has provided me with the best definition of what community looks like; just like me! It is diverse, broad and meaningful to the world we live in.

Camila Costa Coracari & Mrs. DiGiacomo
How has this faculty/staff member contributed to your personal growth or academic journey?
Miss DiGiacomo contributed not only to my growth, but also to all immigrant students. She goes out of her way to help me and is always attentive to all my other classes, if I have any questions or late tasks or if I am enjoying them. She doesn't just teach English, but she teaches important values and introduces people to whom she perceives things in common and is almost always right. She is a kind person and enjoys helping anyone at any time, even if they are not in her classes. If my English has improved and I have fit in during the time since I arrived, it was because of her efforts, she tries to learn a few words in my language and that makes her even more special. A person I will never forget and will forever carry in my heart.
What do you appreciate most about this faculty/staff member?
There is a lot to appreciate about Miss DiGiacomo, the way she captivates you and in a certain way holds your attention to learn more and more, the way she is sweet but at the same time fair, the way she is always right about friendships and people around, the one who goes out of her way to help me regardless of the situation, tries to learn a little bit of my language so that I don't feel alone, the way she transforms classes into my favorite class and does them in fun ways. I have spent many hours talking about Miss DiGiacomo's qualities, but at this moment I just have to thank her so much for her help and affection during this time, without a doubt I will keep her in my heart forever.
Ariannah Salsano & Mr. Fick
