UNIFIED BASKETBALL
The top story this week is the Unified basketball team with 2 big games this week to start their season! Tuesday was a hard fought battle at Mainland. Eagles got off to a slow start, down by as much as 10. With the rebounding of Melea Brown and the defense of Jayden Mixon the eagles came back but fell short 28 to 24.
Thursday was the rematch at EHT. Eagles came out strong with strong defense from Gabe Longo and Maximus Dallman. Mainland fought hard to come back. With a minute left the game was tied. Angel Rivera-Henriquez flew down the court to score the game winning shot. They took the win 22-20! Their next game is on Feb 7 at home against Cape May Tech. And when we win, we do the Gritty across mid court.
