Lion Family Newsletter
Welcome Back to School 2024-2025
November 2024
Dear Lion Families,
I hope each of you are doing well! Thank you for continuing to trust us with your kids. This has been an exciting year, and we have seen many ways in which our kids are learning, growing, and belonging at Lamar Middle School!
As we move into the busy holiday season, we want to emphasize the importance of good habits that help our students thrive! A restful night’s sleep, consistent school attendance, and reading each day for at least 20 minutes can make a big difference in both health and learning. Let’s work together to support our students in developing these habits—they are key to academic success and overall well-being.
Thank you for all you do to support Lamar and our efforts to educate and prepare your kids!
Warm regards,
Eric Ogle, Principal

Parents should only utilize the drop-off and pick-up lanes to drop their students off and/or pick them up. Both parking lots are unavailable for student drop-off or pick-up as this is a safety concern for our staff and students.
