Technology is used throughout the instructional day in all classrooms. All 3rd-5th grade students have been issued a FCS's student device. These devices will be used by students both at school and at home. Families must sign the user agreement in Infinite Campus under documents within the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus for the issued devices. CLICK HERE for the steps for signing the user agreement within the Parent Portal. Printed copies of the user agreements have also been distributed to parents that did not sign the agreement in the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus. A signed user agreement if required by FCS for all students. Our PK-2nd grade classes have also been provided with technology. However, these devices will remain at school.
Coming up November 8th, all FCS schools will engage in a remote learning day. Students will receive their focuses/assignments on Monday, November 7th to complete and engage in on November 8th. All assignments will be asynchronous and should be submitted back to the teacher on November 9th. If you have questions or concerns pertaining the remote learning assignments, please contact your child’s teacher via email.
As you know Halloween falls on Monday this year. At school we will not wear costumes nor pass out candy as this was done at Trunk 'R Treat on October 27th. Please do not send in candy, send scholars in with costumes, or encourage sharing of treats. All items will be confiscated and returned home to the families to share after school.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out at any time cantya@fultonschools.org. Let's make it a great week!
Kind Regards,
Principal Canty
