The J-List
April 19, 2024
Greetings JES Family,
We celebrated another great week at JES! I was so inspired by the focus and determination of our 3rd and 4th grade students as they took the STAAR Reading Assessment this past Tuesday and Wednesday. The test was long and tough, but true to our spirit of excellence, our kids lived out our JES Dragon Code by doing their best work and never giving up! We finished up the week with a packed auditorium for our final Dad's Club Dragons and Donuts event. I think the kids had a great time watching Gregg the Magician perform his magic tricks!
I've included information in the newsletter below about our Class Placement Survey. It is time that we start placing our students into classes for next year and we want your input about your student. Please take a moment to complete the survey before May 3rd.
I also need your help getting the word out about Kindergarten Registration. If you or someone you know has an incoming Kindergarten student for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, please encourage them to go ahead and complete their registration. Getting our students registered as early as possible greatly assists us in staffing and preparation for next year!
Thank you for the opportunity you have given me to serve these beautiful and amazing students. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any compliments or concerns to share and GO DRAGONS!
