Get Involved
We are often asked by parents- How can I get involved? There are many opportunities for families to be involved in schools. Partnering with our families is critical to our students' success. We are looking for a few parents to sit on our District School Improvement Team; if you are interested, please contact Jennifer Brown at 876-5000. Substitute Teacher
Do you want a flexible schedule and support your local school district during a critical time? CAPS is looking for substitute teachers!
Requirements for substitute teachers in the state of Michigan:
- A minimum of 60 semester credit hours from a two- or four-year accredited college or university.
- Passing of a federal and state fingerprint background check.
- Completion of the EduStaff application process which includes a valid substitute permit issued by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE).
