Dear Potential Parents and Returning Students,

Welcome to another exciting year at Lakota Tech High School, where we offer a one-of-a-kind educational experience for students of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Our school is dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to earn a traditional high school diploma while gaining invaluable insights through a Senior Capstone Project, internships, leadership and service opportunities, and certifications in 11 different Career & Technical Education (CTE) Pathways.

At Lakota Tech High School, we prepare our students to successfully enter both college and the workforce. Students who attend Lakota Tech for all four years of high school can graduate with a variety of certifications, making them workforce-ready upon graduation. In previous years, our students have earned certifications as Pharmacy Technicians, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Certifications. This year, we are excited to introduce new certifications, including the Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification, a Welding Certification, and an Automotive Certification.

Fall sports is just around the corner. The following must be completed In order to participate in the first practice:

• Completed Enrollment Packet with a copy of birth certificate, transfer transcript, updated immunization, and tribal enrollment
• Completed SDSAA Sports Physical forms
• Attend Mandatory Fall Sports Parent Meeting Wednesday, July 31st at 5:30pm LTHS Commons

If you're unable to make the meeting, it is your responsibility to arrange a meeting with the Athletic Director at 605-646-9207, prior to the first practice.
