Massachusetts Department of Public Health offers summer safety guidance | Mass.gov

McDevitt Middle School will be providing summer tours for incoming Grade 6 students and their families on Tuesday August 20th at 9:00 AM and Wednesday August 21st at 3:30 PM.

For students entering Grades 1 through 5, teacher assignments will be shared in August.

Kindergarten students will receive teacher assignments on Thursday, August 29th following the last day of Kindergarten screening.

The PTO will once again be hosting Summer Playdates for incoming Kindergarten students on the small playground next to the school. This is a nice time for students to get to know each other before starting Kindergarten in the fall.

All Play Dates will be from 5:30-6:30pm:

Kindergarten Playdate Information

Kindergarten Screening will take place at Northeast on Tuesday, August 27, Wednesday, August 28, and Thursday, August 29. All incoming Kindergarten students should receive their Kindergarten Screening appointment time from the Parent Information Center. Please contact the Parent Information Center with any questions or if you have not received your date.

The first day of school for students entering Grades 1 through 5 will be on Tuesday, August 27.
