A Note from Principal Hilliard
Wolfpack Family!!
Thank you to all the parents and students who came to our end of the year awards! It is always so fun to celebrate you guys! Thank you, thank you for the staff and students for my gift...I love Amazon and the notes are incredible as is the card!
We had several students graduate in May who we are very proud of: My'Alyssa, Brock, Alyssa, Shayla, Javier, Payton, Dom, Michael - GOOD JOB!! Our students of the month for March was Brooke, April was Madi and May was Dom!
This newsletter is bittersweet for me as it is my last one. I want to thank you all for allowing me to be a part of not only the wolfpack family, but yours as well. For the past 17 years I have been a part of something very special and I know the students and staff will continue with the CHSM mission and will do what is best for kids...all the time. The students know the CHSM way and will help the new staff. I am excited to see how the new staff work together and hope to be invited to graduations and events next year. Thank you for all your support, I will miss you all, but I am not going far and I will forever be in your corner and will always cheer you on. Remember, when things get hard - "embrace the suck", you can do hard things! I love you all!
You are all so lucky to have the returning staff's leadership (Cherrie, Lahna, Sheryl, Jen and Chris) they will be a great support for everyone. And you are extra lucky to have the new staff coming in! They are all the perfect fit for CHSM!
Davon Brees - Social Studies
Jed Heath - Science
Stacy Pinkerton - Math
Rhiley Wall - English
I want to thank all the staff at CHSM for supporting me and for being so good for kids. I will miss working with you. For the staff who will no longer be at CHSM - best of luck in your new ventures. You will always be part of the wolfpack!

ENROLLMENT information from the district
Current Student Registration for all returning Maize USD 266 students is now open through June 2, 2024 for the 2024-25 school year.
If you are moving out of the Maize school district, please contact the district at enrollment@usd266.com with the city and state that you are moving to. Please note that we cannot withdraw your child(ren) from Maize until we’ve received a formal request for records from their new school. If you are moving to another address within the Maize USD 266 district boundaries, please let us know your new address and provide a new proof of residency. Keep in mind that placement for grades 5 through 12 is boundary-driven, and a change of address could affect your child(ren)’s school placement for the upcoming school.
To complete registration for the upcoming school year, please log in to Skyward Family Access between now and June 2, 2024 and click the “Current Student Registration 2024-25” button on the left navigation bar. You will have the ability to:
Verify/modify existing information for your child(ren)
Answer or confirm a series of registration questions
Incoming grades 7 through 12: complete the Athletic Packet if your child(ren) plans to participate in a sport.
Once you complete the online registration process, you will receive a confirmation email.
You may pay fees for 2024-25 now. You also can add money for school meal accounts at any time, and that money will follow your child(ren) throughout their career at Maize USD 266.
The Food Service Application for Free and Reduced Price School Meals form must be completed each year, according to federal guidelines. You must complete and submit a 2024-25 application form in order to continue your waived-fee status. The 2024-25 form will be available in July.
If you miss completing registration during this early window through June 2, you can register your child(ren) when the process reopens in July.
