PROFESSIONAL PERSPECTIVE
Brought to you by Eronda L. Jackson, CEOE
PD CORNER: LESSONS FROM PROVERBS
Brought to you by Vanessa Frazier, ED.S, CEOE
A quick-tempered person does foolish things,
and the one who devises evil schemes is hated.
(Proverbs 14:17)
Challenge: How would you rate your daily temperament as an office professional?
This month, fight to control your home and workplace temperament with kindness, joy and peace on those "trying" days.
RCAEOP MEMBER SPOTLIGHT!!
Brian Weston!!
Lets get to know a little about Brian...
How long have you been a RCAEOP Member?
Since March 5, 2015
Where are you originally from?
Right here in Richland County
A little more about Brian's professional background:
Brian has over 27 years' worth of office management and customer service which includes 11 years in the Office of Human Resources Services for Richland One where he began his career as Senior Clerk being responsible for the daily oversight of substitute teachers. Brian furthered his career moving to the position of Administrative Assistant II for six years where he supported eight Curriculum Consultants in their roles of enhancing instruction with teachers across the district.
From here Brain was promoted to the position of Executive Assistant under the Chief of Teaching and Learning for three years and currently is the Executive Assistant with the Office of Executive Directors of Schools.
What are your passions?
Helping and promoting student and staff sucess!
You're being too modest. I have learned that in addition to your sucess in the workplace through the years you have contributed service time through mentoring associations such as Concerned Black Men, Inc. (CBM), the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice and the Richalnd County School District One "Row Program" for students with special needs. Your passion for volunteerism has also led you to be involved with American Heart Association, the United Way of the Midlands, the Palmetto Health Foundation, your alma mater of Lower Richland High School Alumni Foundation, and too many more organzations to name!
What our RCAEOP President has to say about Brian:
"Brian has been nothing but helpful ever since I started in this role as President and even before. He's always willing to lend a hand no matter what it is, and he does it with a smile. Having Brian on your team is always a plus. He is very dependable, hard working, caring and giving.. I always like to give people their flowers while they are living...Today I salute you Brian Weston!"
