Hello Bulldog Families.
We hope all of you have been surviving this heat wave and are looking forward to a restful holiday weekend. Don’t forget that school will not be in session on Monday, September 2, 2024 due to the Labor Day holiday.
We will be using the Flex Schedule A times on Wednesday, September 4th and Flex Schedule B times on Thursday, September 5th. These schedules are linked into this newsletter, and teachers have reviewed these adjusted times with the students. These 90 minute blocks of time are helpful for our teachers to administer the Restart Readiness Assessment, administer practice AP tests, and to allow for longer blocks of time for labs or other projects. Our teachers are excited to have this adjusted-schedule option to better support our students.
Our guidance department will continue to promote upcoming college visits to BHS, so make certain you talk with your junior or senior about signing up for some of these opportunities that are available right in our building. It’s the perfect time to ask questions and to explore the various options that may be available as we help your student transition to life after high school.
