You can brighten their day by arriving on time for snack and lunch—your punctuality shows appreciation for their commitment. Let's continue to support and thank them for their unwavering dedication.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to our PTA Family Glow Dance Event—it was an absolute blast! We loved seeing so many of our Roadrunner families dancing, laughing, and glowing together. A huge shoutout to our amazing PTA for all their hard work and organization in making this event such a fun and memorable night. We truly appreciate everyone's support and spirit!

As we head into the final stretch of the school year, please take note of the remaining modified days:

🗓️ Modified Days:

• May 7, 14, 21

• June 5 & June 6 (last two days of school)

⏰ On these days, students will be dismissed early at their regular modified day dismissal time.

🚫 Please Note:
Wednesday, May 28 and Wednesday, June 4 are NOT modified days.
These dates will follow a regular school schedule.

Attention Rancho Volunteers,

As we begin state testing for our 3rd–5th grade students, we want to ensure a quiet and focused environment for all of our learners.

From Thursday, May 8th through Tuesday, May 20th, there will be no volunteers on campus before 1:10 PM.

This schoolwide adjustment helps us maintain a calm and distraction-free setting so our students can do their very best during this important time.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work together to set all of our Roadrunners up for success!

We’re excited to announce our 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony is just around the corner—and this year, we’re celebrating Hawaiian style! 🏝️🌞

📍 Location: On the school field
⏰ Gates open at 8:30 AM

Students are encouraged to wear their best Hawaiian attire to celebrate this special milestone! 🌸🌴

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families, please bring your own chairs or a blanket for seating. The celebration will last about one hour.

🎈 A friendly reminder:

• Please leave balloons at home to ensure everyone can enjoy the ceremony without blocked views.

• Necklace gifts (leis, candy necklaces, etc.) should be saved for after the ceremony.

Our 3rd-5th grade Roadrunners will be taking the CAASPP test in May! To help your child do their very best, please review the link below for important tips on how to support them during testing.

A few key reminders:
✅ Ensure your child gets a good night's rest.
✅ Arrive on time—gates open at 8:30 AM.
✅ Please avoid checking students out during the testing window (9:00 AM - 1:15 PM).

Your support in making sure students are rested, prepared, and present is greatly appreciated. Let’s help our Roadrunners show off their skills and shine!

This week, we are reviewing the skills of following instructions and getting the teacher's attention. Let's make it a personal goal to practice these essential skills!

We've been learning about perseverance this past month. Here's a review of what perseverance is all about:

• Perseverance is like having a SUPER POWER! It helps you to keep going when things get tough.
• It's about pushing through, even when you feel like giving up, you find the strength to keep trying.
• It's not about being perfect, mistakes happen and that's ok! Just try again.
• It help you reach your goals. You CAN achieve things that may have felt impossible.

Examples of perseverance in everyday life:

• Learning to ride a bike.
• Learning a new sport.
• Finishing homework.
• Finishing a test.
• Playing a musical instrument.

How can we practice building perseverance?

• Set small goals.
• Celebrate small successes.
• Learn from mistakes and try again.
• Get support or ask for help.
• Practice patience. Learning takes time.
