Rocket Update November 12th
Week 14 π
Hey Rose Lane Families!
I want to thank the amazing PTO for the wonderful Fall Carnival that they put on for our school this past Friday! It was truly a special event! I hope you all had a great time with your families and were able to enjoy everything it had to offer.
This week we have our 2nd grade performance the Madison Center for the Arts. This will take place on Thursday, November 14th from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. If you are a 2nd grade parent we hope to see you there!
Next Saturday the 23rd, we will have our Turkey Trot event from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. Ms. Gulick, our PE teacher will be creating a 1 mile course for our kiddos and families to run or walk together. It was an exciting event last year and we hope to see many of you there!
Finally, I want to continue to emphasize the importance of having your child here each day. We have 14 instructional days left until we take our Math benchmark assessments and 18 instructional days until our Reading benchmark assessments. Every day counts and we want to obtain a true measure of how your kiddos are doing in these two crucial areas. Please continue to make sure they are here everyday and on time so we can ensure they are ready to show what they have learned this first half of the year. For reference our Math benchmark assessments will be on December 5th and 6th and our Reading benchmarks will be on December 11th, 12th, and 13th. We appreciate your support and dedication to your child!
Let's have another great week at Rose Lane! See you soon!
Your Rose Lane Principal,
Andre Reyes, M.Ed.
