As we transition into a new season, we want to remind you of the importance of dressing your students appropriately for the changing temperatures. With weather conditions fluctuating throughout the day, it is essential for children to wear layers that can easily be added or removed as needed.

Please ensure your child has a warm coat, hats, and gloves for cooler days approaching. Students will go out to recess unless the wind-chill is below 20F. Keeping gloves and hats in your child's backpack will allow them to have the necessary items on colder days. Please make sure you are sending a jacket with your student everyday.

Join us as we encourage all students to establish routines and responsibilities! We are asking for your guidance and support to improve the attendance of students here at Cortland Elementary School.
