Back-to-school season is here! Don't miss out on important events and info!
Enrollment and Freshman Orientation
Mark your calendars, Southwest School families! Enrollment dates are set, and we're excited to welcome you back. Whether you're a returning student or joining us for the first time, we've got you covered.
Key Dates and Enrollment Information:
- Online enrollment is available for returning and kindergarten students beginning July 29th.
- July 29 - August 2: Online enrollment at Sullivan High School.
- July 30 (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM): Sullivan High School will be open for any currently enrolled student who wishes to speak with a guidance counselor.
- July 30 & 31 (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM): Sullivan High School will be open for any student not currently enrolled in a Southwest School.
- August 1 (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM): Carlisle and Sullivan Elementary/Middle Schools will be open for any student not currently enrolled.
- August 1 (6:00 PM): Sullivan High School will hold a Freshman orientation in the auditorium.
Open House
Carlisle and Sullivan Elementary/Middle Schools are hosting Open Houses on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Feel free to drop in anytime during this window - it's a come-and-go event! This is a perfect opportunity to meet teachers and staff, tour the facilities, drop off school supplies, and get excited for the new school year!
Other beginning of the year information!
- July 29-Parking passes go on sale for Sullivan High School student drivers. Forms are available on the SHS website or in the office.
- July 31-Southwest School Corporation is hosting a Stuff the Bus school supply drive from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Sullivan Walmart.
- August 1-The Sullivan Elementary PTO is hosting a back to school party at the Sullivan City Pool from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
- August 7-First day of school!
School Bus Safety Reminder
As you know, SWSC starts school on Wednesday, August 7th. Every day, millions of children rely on school buses for safe transportation. When those red stop arms extend, it's not just a suggestion—it's a command to protect lives.
