What a fun day seeing everyone dressed in their costumes! We loved seeing all the kids get so festive in the parade this morning and enjoying their parties. Thank you to everyone who came and helped out in their kids classrooms and around the school! We hope no one missed all the amazing staff dressed up! We will be voting on best dressed, so stay tuned for the winners!

Please join us for our next PTO meeting on Friday 11/8 @ 8:45am in the cafeteria. We will be discussing Boosterthon and we would love to hear community feedback and thoughts on how to move forward next year.

In November, we will have the opportunity to raise some money through Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers! Just mention Copper Mesa when you purchase food on November 14th and we will receive a portion of your purchase. Such an easy way to support our school and feed your family at the same time!

The Son Event has been postponed. We will be having the event in the Spring instead. Make sure to be on the lookout for more information on the new date. Thank you for understanding and we hope to see everyone in the Spring.

Planning has begun for the annual Daughter Dance at Copper Mesa! Save the date for 1/25 from 6-8pm for an Enchanted Forest themed evening with your daughters! Our planning committee needs volunteers to help run the event, so if you are interested, please let us know at cmeapto@gmail.com.

Got a knack for party planning? Love reaching out to local businesses? Looking to get your hands dirty (We know for a fact there are some interested dads out there!)?

We are always looking for volunteers for Teacher/Staff Appreciation, our Daughter Event, our Son Event, School Beautification, our Spring Fundraiser, etc. If you would like to volunteer with PTO in any way, please let us know.

Watch D.O.G.S. is a program that gives dads the opportunity to spend either a half or whole day in the building with their children. You will help in classrooms and go to lunch and recess with your child.

The purpose of the program:

1. To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is essential.
2. To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying. All dads are encouraged to be a Watch D.O.G.S. Dad at least once a year.

One of our biggest and easiest fundraisers has proven to be King Soopers Cards. In just over a year our total donation received is in excess of $15,000. If you haven’t registered your rewards number (phone number) yet, please do so, it’s quick and easy and a great way to earn funds for our school. This money helps us to pay for teacher and school grants and host some of our events.
