Welcome To Week #35
Diamond Bar High School and the Walnut Valley Unified School District are proud to recognize Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month as we continue to provide our organization with resources to celebrate diversity while building equitable and inclusive practices for our community.
Dear Brahma Family,
IB Testing started last week and AP Testing begins on Monday, May 5 week and continues through Friday, May 16. IB and AP exams are comprehensive assessments that students may choose to take at the end of an IB or AP course to demonstrate how well they learned the skills, and content outlined by the International Baccalaureate Organization or College Board in their course framework for the course. Most colleges will give students credit or, as the name implies, advanced placement (allow the student to skip an equivalent introductory course) for high scores on the exams, which are scored on a 1-7 or 1-5 scale, respectively.
Good luck on your exams!
Sincerely,
David Hong
Principal
