We had a fantastic PSAT Day this past Wednesday at the Rattler Ranch. Thank you so much to our Administrators, Counselors, CCMR Specialist, and the entire Reagan Staff for coming together to ensure our students were able to take advantage of this opportunity.

As you know, Dr. Reininger is out at the moment and possibly until mid December. Mr. John Mehlbrech, former principal at Johnson High School, is here with us in Dr. R's place.

Mentor Match Day a Success at Reagan High School’s Business Incubator!

On Thursday, September 26, Reagan High School's Business Incubator hosted its annual Mentor Match Day, where our future entrepreneurs had the chance to pitch their business ideas to a panel of experienced mentors. Following the pitches, mentors interviewed each team and selected the groups they will be supporting throughout the school year. The involvement of these dedicated mentors is crucial to the success of our students, providing them with real-world insights and valuable guidance.

A special thank you goes out to John Strock – CIO Alterman, INC; Ryan Pantusa – Owner, Pantusa Towing; Lauren Byrd – Owner, FYZICAL Therapy & Balance, Nicole Rekowski – Marketing Executive, Silver Wing Beverage Co.; and Martha Schoenewe – Owner, Tangent Tees. We appreciate your time, encouragement, and commitment to fostering the next generation of business leaders. We are looking forward to a winning year ahead!

Reagan Business INCubator is still seeking coaches for expert subjects including Customer Segmentation & Market Sizing; Branding, Marketing & Pricing; Finances; and Web Development . Shout out to Mrs. Stone for volunteering on campus this week. Thank you to ALL of our RHS family members who volunteer their time to support on AND off campus! We could not do this without you!

1. All students are invited to the Homecoming Dance Oct. 18th from 7:30-10:30pm. Join us for a Tangled Theme night. Tickets are on sale now on School Cash Online. Online sales end October 17th so hurry and purchase them now! Ticket costs at the door go up to $40 and will be cash only.

1. Pink out is next week! Shirts will be on sale during all lunches Oct. 7th-11th, and at the blackout pep rally Oct. 10th. Each shirt is $20 and only cash will be accepted. Proceeds will be donated to Overcomers, a local non-profit. Wear the shirt to our pink out game versus Johnson Oct. 11th. Let’s pink out the whole stadium to show our support of Breast Cancer Survivors.

On Sept. 20, Juniors and Seniors with an unweighted GPA of 90+ received an email invitation to apply for NHS. The email contains information regarding deadlines, help sessions, and the application submission link. Applications are due October 10th at 10:00pm. Parents looking for more information should visit the Reagan NHS website.

Reagan Choir is selling mums again this year as a fundraiser for our choir scholarship fund, and we would love to have our flyers included in the Double R again this year. I will attach them to this email. If there is something I should do differently, or somebody else I should send these to, please let me know. I'm new at this! :)

Reagan Families! Join us for a PTA Fundraiser AND support a Reagan graduate at Parry's Pizza on Tuesday, October 1st! Show your support for Ronald Reagan PTA between 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm and 20% of your bill will be DONATED to RRHS PTA. Let your server know you are there to support PTA. Eating delicious pizza for a great cause! Did I mention the manager is a Reagan graduate who is excited to give back to his community?! Strike 'Em!
