Chequamegon Middle School & Glidden Elementary School

As a result of a fantastic turnout and excellent behavior, the Chequamegon Middle School Student Council was able to squeeze in one last dance to round out the school year! It was a fantastic event DJ'd by Mr. Bill Weiler making the evening a blast! A huge thank you to Mrs. Sarah Graceffa, school counselor and student council advisor, and Mrs. Kief, chaperone for making CMS a fun place to learn!

North Lakes Dental Clinic was able to complete dental check-ups free of charge for students at the north and south campuses. The dental staff visited the north campus on Friday, April 29, and reported the need for follow-up care to parents and the school nurse.

5th Graders from Park Falls Elementary headed north on Friday, May 17th as they participated in a scavenger hunt around the middle school and met their teachers while touring the facilities. These events are essential in building community and lessening any worries that students may have as they make transitions from building to building. This summer the new 6th graders will participate in 6th grade orientation! Pictured right is the 5th grade transition day!

The Silver Express made their annual visit to the Chequamegon North Campus as they held their concert for our middle and elementary students. This is a much-anticipated activity as the band from Hurley high school plays cover music that students enjoy singing and dancing to. Performing at the North Campus is always a highlight of the Silver Express's tour each year!

The Chequamegon North Campus conducted a fire drill on Wednesday, May 22 at approximately 1:00 p.m. All students and staff in the building were able to practice the protocols in place.
