Spanish Club Visits Kettering Fairmont High School Performing Arts Center
RULH Spanish Club at the Jr./Sr. High School attended a live music and dancing show at Kettering Fairmont High School Performing Arts Center in Kettering, OH, this week. The show, which includes a live band and a dance group, is produced by the Miami-based Hispanic Flamenco Ballet Company. The students witnessed a high quality production and were educated about the rich variety of music and dance expressions in Hispanic America and Spain through a very authentic show that was very true to its roots. The students enjoyed a variety of rhythms from Spain and different Latinamerican countries and were able to participate in interactive sessions with the performers where they were taught some dancing moves. It was a very exciting experience for everyone.
RULH Elementary Celebrates Incredible Kid Day
The RULH FFA Program had the Great Privilege to help RULH Elementary School with "Incredible Kid Day"! The FFA students provided several agricultural activities since it is also National Ag Week. These included: tractor races, a petting zoo, and pieces of equipment to see. The FFA would like to thank everyone who brought animals or equipment to help make this day special for our elementary students. A great time was had by both elementary and high school students. The FFA would also like to thank Ag-Pro for the discounted price on two pedal tractors, Bane-Welker Equipment for the donation of a pedal tractor, and Baxla Tractor Sales, Inc. in Seaman for allowing us to borrow a pedal tractor. Blue Jay PRIDE!
