Parents, please read the information about Summer School carefully.

Students recommended for summer school received a letter from Tenie Holmes Elementary to attend summer school.
Students who fail 1 STAAR subject (Reading, Math, Science) attend until June 7th.
Students who fail 2 or 3 STAAR subjects (Reading, Math, Science attend until June 20th.

Location: Bay City Junior High

Dates: May 29th -June 20th

Monday-Thursday- No Fridays

June 19th- No School-Student/Teacher Holiday

Time: 8:00 am-1:00 pm

Daily Schedule

7:30-8:00 am Breakfast is available for all students
8:00 am Class begins
Students will rotate between Reading, Math, with enrichment in Lexia, STMath, and keyboarding.
Recess daily
Lunch daily
1:00 pm dismissal

First Day of Summer School-May 29, 2024

Students will be dropped off at the front entrance to Bay City Junior High. Tenie Holmes teachers and staff will be on duty to greet students, direct them to breakfast, and then to direct them to class. Students will follow their daily schedule throughout the day. Parents pick up all Tenie Holmes students daily in the front of the building.
