March 4, 2025
Dear TUFSD Families and Staff,
As we welcome March, the promise of spring is on the horizon. This time of year brings a renewed sense of energy and growth, and we see that reflected in our students every day. With warmer weather just around the corner, fresh opportunities for learning, achievement, and engagement in all aspects of school life await.
Our students are working hard to shape bright futures, and we celebrate their achievements across various fields of study. At the same time, our athletes continue to demonstrate perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship, excelling in competition and proudly representing our school.
We are incredibly proud of the commitment and enthusiasm our students bring to both academics and extracurricular activities. Thank you for your continued support in helping them thrive. We look forward to an exciting and productive month ahead!
Sincerely,
Dr. Raymond Sanchez

National Merit Scholarship Finalists
Congratulations to SHHS Seniors Jocelin Santocki, Roxie Bloom and Ayaka Utsumi who have been named as National Merit Scholarship Finalists, a recognition that only about 15000 students earn nationwide. So much #HorsemenPride for these amazing young women.
Wizards Fundraising Success
The Foundation for the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns hosted a sold out gymnasium for the Harlem Wizards fundraiser basketball game Friday night at SHHS. More than 800 community members came together to watch teachers, staff and administrators face off against the Wizards.
There was so much excitement and fun being had we didn't even notice the final score (but we're confident our TUFSD Ballers beat the Wizards)!
This fundraiser raised over $18,000 for the Foundation that will go back to our schools for innovative grants and programs. We couldn't have done it without the support of our amazing community of donors and volunteers!
