LnHS Update - February 4th
See update for calendar alerts for the next few weeks.
Dear Lancaster High School Eagle Families
Short update this week. Please note the upcoming alerts to our calendar for the next three weeks as we have a student free day and holidays on the horizon. This week we transition from winter athletic season to spring athletic season. Please make sure you visit the athletics office if you have any interest in playing a sport. For example, if you are a softball player, spots are open on our JV team where you can build your skills and playing experience for a shot at varsity in the future! Do not hesitate!
This week we get the opportunity to celebrate a group of amazing people. As we celebrate National School Counseling Week, we want to take a moment to express our deep appreciation for the incredible service and dedication of our counseling staff. They play a vital role in supporting our students and families, offering guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear.
Thank you, Lancaster High School Counseling Team, for your unwavering commitment to the success and well-being of our students. Your impact is immeasurable, and we are truly grateful for the invaluable support you provide to our school community.
If you would like to shout out anyone in our Counseling Department, please do so here. Share a story, a thank you, or message of appreciation. Let's shout out these amazing people!

You can order through Jostens, from our student store or directly from Ms. Mendoza in accounting in-person or via telephone. You must order through Jostens if you want personalizations, icons or any other extras.
2.) Senior recognition ads are officially for sale as well through Jostens. I have attached instructions. The deadline for senior ad purchases has been extended, see below. Don't miss out on honoring your child's accomplishments!

Eagle Robotics - Team 399 Kickoff
Buzzing with excitement on January 6th our team gathered together over winter break to celebrate Kickoff Day for our FRC team 399. Many members and past alumni joined together on Saturday morning to experience the reveal of the new game released by First Robotics. Ready to start planning, students separated into their subteams to start brainstorming. Manufacturing and programming joined forces to gather ideas for the new robot. Meanwhile, multimedia and public relations started to plan for our annual Robot Rollout and also get started on our IMPACT program. This day was very exciting for all of our members, as we have been waiting for this day all year!

At-School Live Tutoring
VIRTUAL *LIVE* Tutoring (Virtual Tutoring with a Live Person)
Did you know that your student has LIVE 24 HOUR FREE tutoring available in your student's PowerSchool? Our district has partnered with Princeton Review to provide every student with this amazing service. Your student can be connected with a tutor in any subject any time of the day, for FREE. These are not videos, they are live, vetted, tutors. Think of Uber, but for tutoring! The tutors will even edit papers for your student with less than a 24 hour turn-a-round period.
The easiest way to access this free, live, virtual tutoring, is to have your student log into google with their school account, log into Power School, look on the left side of the screen and find the live tutor button, and follow the easy to follow directions from there. If you need assistance, CLICK HERE or the button below for a tutorial.
