Weekly Update

Families of fifth-graders interested in One91 Virtual Academy are invited to attend our One91 Virtual Academy middle school open house at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8.

Virtual Academy Principal Kelly Ronn will answer questions and present information on the middle school virtual academy experience, including available courses and course delivery, scheduling, technology and student supports.

All elementary families in District 191 are invited to attend our Explore Middle School Open Houses from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Eagle Ridge and Nicollet Middle Schools. You will have the opportunity to tour the school, talk to the principal and staff, and learn more about the middle school experience.

Registration: Register for ISD One91 Championship

$30 Registration remains open until Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11:59 pm or

$40 Registration at the door from 8:30-9:00 am cash or check only.

Participants who arrive or register late are subject to not being paired for Round 1 or may start the round with reduced time.

Section Information

Open to ISD 191 students only- USCF membership not required

K-5 ISD 191: Team and individual awards including top grade level trophies.

Teams are based on the top four player’s scores added together.

Grade 6-12 ISD 191: Individual awards only.

Non-District Chess Tournament- Parents, Friends, Family, Alum

K-5 Rated: Trophies for top finishers
K-8 Rated: Trophies for top finishers
All Ages Rated Open: Prizes in the form of gift cards will be given out. Based on 16 entries, $200 in prizes will be given out.

Concessions available- Bring your own lunch or money for concessions.

Brief awards ceremony following Round 5.

Bring a chess set, clock (if you have one), writing utensil. Notation will be provided, or you may use your own.
