Santa Margarita Mid-Week Message

Just a reminder that tomorrow night is Elementary Back to School Night. This night is for parents of students in grades TK-5. Two classroom sessions are offered to ensure that parents with multiple students are able to visit each class. It is suggested that only parents attend if possible as this is an opportunity for teachers to share information about their class and space is limited. (If a teacher has rescheduled to another date, that teacher has notified their parents of the change.)

• 5:00-5:30 Classroom Session 1
• 5:30-6:00 Classroom Session 2

This is a reminder of the message in Friday's School Newsletter. This year, we are in need of parent members for our School Site Council. The School Site Council is a group of parents, teachers, and staff that provide input as we update and monitor our School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). Members of the council are elected to serve two year terms and we meet a minimum of 5 times a year after school from 3:15pm - 4:15pm.

If you would be interested in serving on the council and would like to be placed on the ballot. Please fill out the form linked here by the end of day on Thursday, September 12th. The nominees will be placed on a ballot that will be included in the next weekly newsletter.
