Counseling Intern with Ms. Woodruff
Hi there!
My name is Jadyn Biermaier and I will be interning with Barbie Woodruff Monday through Friday from 10/7-11/8 at Hidden River Middle School! I am an alumnus of the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Family Social Science, specifically concentrating in Community Engagement and Family Therapy. More recently, I am working on completing my Master of Science in Education for K-12 School Counseling at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls.
In my free time, I enjoy reading (historical fiction and mysteries/thrillers are my favorite genres), working out, and exploring different restaurants and coffee shops in and around my community.
I grew up south of the Twin Cities but have been living in Saint Paul for the last 4 years. I am really excited to be a part of the school community where I live and support the needs of students and families here at Hidden River Middle School. I thoroughly enjoy education and strive to be a lifelong learner. In turn, I hope that I can guide others on their educational journey as well.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!

Family-Staff Organization (FSO)
We need your help!
It's a busy week at Hidden River Middle School! We have a number of opportunities available to volunteer in the next week:
Evening Conferences: Can you spare an hour to help the FSO inform caregivers of what FSO does and how they can get involved. Sign-up here for Thursday, October 10 or sign-up here for a shift on Tuesday, October 15. No time to spare but still want to help? FSO would like to provide food to teachers before they settle in for a long night of conferences on Thursday. Sign-up here to donate food or drinks
Wednesday, October 9: Hidden River will participate in the national "Walk/Bike/Roll to School Day" and Principal Vibar will also be hosting "Coffee with the Principal" afterwards. We need volunteers to help us welcome and cheer on the students arriving by bike and on foot! It's a short commitment - only about 30 minutes long! - but a great atmosphere. Kids participating in the event get a sticker and a treat provided by the FSO. Sign-up here to help on Wednesday, October 9th.
Please call or email Wendy with any questions at wendy.caucutt@spps.org or 651-744-2007.
