Postcards were recently mailed with your child's classroom teacher assignment and should be in mailboxes by early next week! This information will help you locate your child's teacher at Open House on Wednesday, August 28th from 4:30-6:00pm. Make sure to bring your postcard to open house if assistance is needed to find your teacher's classroom. Please contact the school office at 763-506-2700 if your postcard has not been received by Tuesday of next week.

• Kindergarten families please schedule a 20 minute "Meet & Greet" on either September 3rd or September 4th with your child's kindergarten teacher.
• A postcard was mailed this week with your child's classroom teacher assignment. Please locate your child's classroom teacher's name. Go to the link: www.myconferencetime.com/hamilton and you will see the names of the kindergarten teachers. On this link, please click the link of the teacher that aligns to your postcard. This is a great opportunity for families, students, and teachers to get set up for success in kindergarten.
• Kindergarten families may choose to bring school supplies either to open house or your child's meet & greet appointment.

• Kindergarten First Day of School
• Students with last names beginning A-J start on Thursday, September 5th.
• Students with last names beginning K-Z start on Friday, September 6th.
• All Kindergarten students will attend school on Monday, September 9th.

• Classrooms will open at 4:30 to Meet your Child's Teacher.

• 4:30-6:00pm Classroom Visits

• Sign-up for conferences.
• Bring school supplies.
• Sign-up to volunteer.
• School supplies available in the cafeteria.

It is important to complete this application each year to determine whether or not you qualify to be considered benefit eligible. The state’s Free School Meals program will cover the cost of one breakfast meal and one lunch meal for every student daily, however the cost of a la carte items, such as milk, other drinks, or extra meal items will not be covered. Students will need to have funds in their meal accounts to purchase any additional food items.

Hamilton is grateful for the many school supplies that have been donated by our Coon Rapids community partners. These supplies will be available for those in need at open house. This includes; backpacks, folders, notebooks, pencils, glue sticks...
