Back to School 2024-2025!

Message from Ms. Bratton, principal

Hello Wrangler families,

Can you believe it?

HEB has rolled out the school supplies already!

As we begin to think about back to school, I hope you will put our annual back to school flag football event, the Wrangler Round UP, on your calendar for Saturday August 17, 2024. I would like to encourage you to sign up your kiddo -- ALL grade levels participate! It's a great way to get excited for back to school, make new friends, and build bonds before school even starts.

Practices begin August 6 and the deadline to register is July 26.

Here are a few additional detail --

⭐️ Girls will play powderpuff flag football & boys will act as cheerleaders inspiring a friendly competition for each grade level. Even if your kiddo does not want to participate, they will have a great time attending this event and catching up with friends.

⭐️We have an exciting addition to this year’s event, we are adding a homecoming division for all former Wranglers who want to come back and play. Show ‘em how community is done at SB!

⭐️Adults who want to join the fun, we need football coaches, team moms and cheer coaches/choreographers and other volunteers. Please let us know if you want to help out! Email kweissfisch@aol.com with questions.

Cross Country Interest Camp - Aug 1

Attention all incoming 7th & 8th grade athletes: Beginning Thursday, August 1st, SBMS will be holding a morning conditioning camp. This camp is for anyone who is interested in participating in the upcoming cross-country season beginning the first day of school. BEFORE you arrive, it is important that you have both your rank one & physical turned in per UIL rules and guidelines. You will not be able to participate in athletics if you are missing one or both of those.

Details:

When: Thursday, August 1st-15th (Monday-Thursday)

Where: SBMS football field

Time: 6:45am - 7:45am. Pickup no later than 8am.

2024-25 PE/Athletic Clothes - order thru July 31

It's that time of year to begin ordering your PE/Athletic clothes for next year. Please note the color requirements below. Please know these links will only be active through July 31st.:

All PE and 6th grade pre-athletics: gray top, navy bottoms

Boys 7th and 8th Athletics: gray top, navy bottoms

Girls 7th and 8th Athletics: navy top, navy bottoms

For Football athletes: navy top, navy bottoms
