This weekend was filled with energy, fun, and a strong sense of community at the Mahwah Public Schools. On Saturday, our HSO hosted the GW Walk-A-Thon, where families enjoyed a beautiful day filled with games, activities, and incredible class baskets that were raffled off. We are grateful to the vendors who sponsored the activities and to all the volunteers who made this event a huge success.
On Sunday, the Mahwah Schools Foundation hosted the Thunderbird Run/Walk, including the Kids Run and the elementary school staff race. It was a special moment seeing members of the community to line up to cheer for all of the kids as they crossed the finish line. The endless training 😉 paid off as the George Washington team proudly brought the title of champion to the trophy case at GW.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the HSO and the Mahwah Schools Foundation for organizing two wonderful events, which not only benefit our students but also strengthen the pride we feel being part of this incredible community.
