WEEK OF JANUARY 6, 2025
Happy New Year! I hope this letter finds you well-rested and ready for an exciting new chapter as we begin 2025! I trust that your holiday season was filled with joy, laughter, and cherished moments with family and friends. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I actually had a break, I hope that you feel that way, too.
As we return to school, I’m thrilled to welcome everyone back to Wynnewood High School. This is a time to set fresh goals and embrace the possibilities that lie ahead. The spring semester is always an exciting time. There is always something going on, whether it’s mastering new skills, deepening friendships, or tackling academic and extracurricular challenges, there’s a lot to look forward to in the coming months. Before we know it we will be wrapping up with assemblies, banquets, and graduation.
Here are a couple of reminders as we settle back into our routines:
- Attendance and Punctuality: Being present and on time helps us all start the day on the right foot. If your child is going to be absent, please call the office and let us know.
- Communication: If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to support you in every way that we can.
Keep an eye on our newsletters and social media for updates, important announcements, upcoming events, and opportunities to participate in our school community. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to your child’s education. Together, let’s make the remainder of this school year a successful and rewarding one.
❗❗ATTENTION SENIORS & PARENTS❗❗
This is a reminder that Kirk Rushing will be at the High School on January 7th and January 10th. If you have already signed up for an appointment Ms. Ingram will be sending an email or calling you to remind you on Monday. Please remember to have your FSA ID created for both you as a parent and your student. This will be two separate FSA ID's. https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch
GRADUATION REQUIREMENT: The FAFSA is required for your student (Including Virtual Students) to graduate this year even if they do not plan to attend college after high school. If you have any questions or have not set up an appt for either of those days please reach out to Ms. Ingram.
