Dear Ride Parents,

Today will be our final Blast newsletter for the 2023-2024 school year. We only have 3 and half days next week. Tuesday is our Kn Graduation and Wednesday is our 4th Grade Celebration. Thursday is also the last day of school and an early release day. This is the time of the year I wish I had another week with the kids!! But I know our time must come to a pause. Just be sure to come back next year and we will do it again! Due to the recent inclement weather, school will be released at 12:40pm on Thursday, May 23rd, for the summer.

Thank you for another amazing school year! Our Challengers have worked so hard and have grown so much! Each day they demonstrate leadership, perseverance, kindness, and so much more. We could not be prouder of their effort and commitment to being the best person they can be. It warms our hearts to see challengers helping a friend, encouraging each other, or working together. Our students have truly embraced what it means to be a Ride Challenger.

Thank you, parents, for the commitment, consistency, and love, you show our teachers and challengers on a daily basis. We are all so grateful for your support. You are one of the reasons Sally K. Ride will always have deep roots and strong traditions. I am thankful to have been a part of this community and witness its greatness. Thank you for trusting me with your most prized possessions and allowing me to lead our Challengers for the past fourteen years. Although I will be retiring after twenty-five years at Ride, it will continue to grow and thrive and be the wonderful place it has always been.

I will miss you and please know you will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you again for the best 25 years! It has been an honor and an absolute pleasure.

I only hope that my retirement will be filled with half as much joy and Contentment that Ride brought me. How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.

Conroe ISD will be offering families the opportunity to register their new students for enrollment in the 2024-25 school year every Tuesday and Thursday in June at two locations. Registration will be held at Milam Elementary and the Jett Center from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following dates:
